Password and security

Keep your CogniaLab account secure with a strong password.

Change your password

If you're already logged in:

1. Go to My profile.
2. Find the Password section.
3. Enter your current password and new password.
4. Confirm the new password.
5. Save changes.

tip

Use at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Recover a forgotten password

If you don't remember your password:

1. Go to Log in.
2. Select Forgot your password?.
3. Enter your account email and send the link.
4. Check your inbox — if an account exists with that email, you will receive instructions.
5. Open the link, choose a new password (at least 8 characters), and confirm it.

The link takes you to set the new password on CogniaLab. For security, the confirmation message does not say whether the email is registered.

Log out

To log out securely, especially on shared computers:

1. Click Log out in the navigation menu.
2. Verify you've signed out before leaving the device.

Protecting student data

As a teacher or institution, you have access to student psychometric reports. Remember:

• Don't share your account credentials.
• Treat reports as personal data.
• Export PDFs only when needed for authorized pedagogical purposes.
