Manage users
My institution is your organization's admin dashboard. Only accounts with the administrator role can see it.
How to open My institution
- Log in to CogniaLab.
- In the navigation menu, select My institution.
If you don't see that option, your account is not an organization administrator. Ask an admin to invite you with the right role. See Invite users.
What the list shows
Each row is a member or a pending invitation. Columns include name, email, role, status, and join date.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Create tests, view reports, and manage users in My institution |
| User | Create tests and view reports; they do not administer the organization |
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Has platform access as a member of the institution |
| Pending | Received an invitation and has not accepted it yet |
| Suspended | Still in the institution, but cannot use its resources until reactivated |
Filter and search
Use the filters at the top to find people:
- Search by name or email
- Role — administrator, user, or all
- Status — active, pending, suspended, or all
- Per page — 10, 25, or 50 results
Select Apply filters to refresh the list. Pagination keeps the active filters.
Actions on members
Available actions depend on each row's status. You cannot run them on your own account or on the last active administrator.
Suspend
Blocks access to institution resources. The CogniaLab account is not deleted. Confirm in the dialog before continuing.
Reactivate
Restores access for a suspended member.
Remove
Takes the person out of the organization. Their CogniaLab account remains, but they lose access to this institution.
Resend invite
On Pending rows, you can send the invitation email again if it didn't arrive or the link expired.
Treat the user list as personal data. Don't share screenshots or export member information without an authorized institutional purpose.
Add people
To invite someone new, use Add user. The full guide is in Invite users.
