Take a test

Step-by-step guide for students completing a psychometric assessment on CogniaLab.

Before you start​

  • Have your teacher's 6-letter code ready.
  • Find a quiet place where you can focus.
  • You don't need an account or password.

Step 1: Enter the code​

  1. Open Enter code.
  2. Type the 6 letters of the code (uppercase or lowercase).
  3. Press continue.

If the code is valid, you'll see the test welcome screen.

Step 2: Read the instructions​

Your teacher may have left a message explaining:

  • What the assessment is for
  • Approximately how long it takes
  • That there are no right or wrong answers

Step 3: Answer the questions​

The multiple intelligences assessment presents statements about learning preferences. For each one, indicate how much you agree.

Answer based on how you actually like to learn, not how you think you should answer.

Step 4: Submit responses​

After the last question, confirm submission. Your responses will be recorded and your teacher can view your profile in their dashboard.

Student FAQ​

Can I pause and continue later? Depends on test configuration. If you close the browser before submitting, you may need to start over. Ask your teacher.

Can I change my answers? You can usually review before submitting. Once submitted, the assessment is recorded.

Do I see my results? Your teacher or counselor interprets the results. They will share them in tutoring or meetings if appropriate.
